School of Music Faculty Chamber Concert with Vincent Mitterand, Connoisseur Guest Artist funded by the Bloomfield Foundation

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the relationship between sister cities Wichita and Orléans France, the WSU Faculty Chamber Series and Connoisseur Series present Igor Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat (The Soldiers Tale) with guest artist Vincent Mitterrand, principal trumpet of the Orchestre Symphonique D’Orléans, narrated by members of the WSU French faculty. Alongside the Stravinsky will be a selection of duets performed by Vincent Mitterrand and Dr. David Hunsicker, and Brahms Sonata No. 1 for violin and piano with Dr. Timothy Jones and Gene Philley.
